Oxford Deluxe (ODE and OTE)

Verdict

A dense, respected two-in-one dictionary and thesaurus that most reviewers say earns its price, but a real minority hit crashes, freezes, or odd behavior on certain devices.

Best for

Someone who wants full Oxford dictionary and thesaurus depth offline and doesn't mind paying more upfront for it than a typical app.

Dealbreaker

A notable share of reviewers report crashes, freezing, or the app failing to work properly on some devices.
