Verdict
Google Maps is a widely used navigation app, but the recent review signal is thin and skews toward complaints about performance and stability rather than praise.
Best for
Someone who wants a mainstream, widely-adopted maps app and isn't bothered by occasional freezing or lag during navigation.
Dealbreaker
Some recent reviewers report freezing, crashes, and slow voice directions, particularly when other apps are running at the same time.
