Verdict
Goodpods leans on social discovery — seeing what friends recommend and getting alerts on new episodes — more than raw playback features, and reviewers consistently praise the interface and responsive customer support.
Best for
Someone who wants podcast recommendations from friends and easy episode discovery, not someone migrating a large existing subscription list from another app.
Dealbreaker
There's no OPML import, so bringing over an existing podcast library from another app isn't straightforward.
