Verdict
Busuu gets praised for being easy to use, but a real chunk of reviewers complain about aggressive subscription upsells, pop-ups, and even duplicate charges.
Best for
Someone who wants a simple, well-designed language app for casual daily practice and doesn't mind hitting a paywall once they want unlimited lessons.
Dealbreaker
Several reviewers report constant subscription pop-ups and at least one duplicate subscription charge, so check your billing after signing up.
