Verdict
BookFusion's strongest theme is syncing books, highlights, and progress across Calibre, web, iOS, and Android, which is what most reviewers praise it for. But some paid features gate basic things like offline storage of your own files, and a handful of users hit real friction exporting their data.
Best for
Someone who already has a Calibre library or a mix of iOS and Android devices and wants highlights and reading progress to stay in sync across all of them.
Dealbreaker
A subset of reviewers report being charged or asked to pay recurring fees just to store or sideload books they already own, and a few couldn't get their own highlights or data back out of the app.
